Fascinated by the atmosphere of the old Mathildedal Ironworks village a Helsinki-based couple Tuomo and Elina moved to Mathildedal and started the Village Bakery in 2015. In summer 2019 they opened the charming old manor house ‘’Matildankartano’’ and it’s idyllic surroundings for the visitors to enjoy. Enjoy a private picnic brunch especially prepared for you in the beautiful surroundings of the old main building of Mathildedal. The basket is packed for you with the best and freshest local ingredients from the area including sourdough bread from their own bakery and fresh toppings. For drinks you can choose a local craft cider of your likings from the local cider brewery.
