Explore the mining past of Seiffen and the Erzgebirge. Go undergound in the visitor mine Fortuna Fundgrube in Deutschkatharinenberg. Experience the bygone time in the old ore mining industry, active for more then 300 years, from 1514 to 1881. Hear about the hard and sometimes almost hopeless work of the miners in earlier days. After that, you are warmly invited to refresh in our Restaurant ""Hutstube"", right at the exit of the mine - with homemade cakes and Erzgebirge specialities.
